Job Summary
Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards while developing technical drawings and plans of substantial complexity. Make and quality check drawings, perform multifaceted calculations, and suggest design changes based on engineering principles. Maintain the drawing database, supervise and train CAD staff, and coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control. Requires minimal supervision to perform day-to-day tasks. This role supports the Development Services team at Kimley-Horn's St. Pete, Florida office. Candidates must have 6+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
- Ability to work independently and with a team
