Job Summary
Civil Designer responsible for leading the civil and structural design scope for LNG facilities, including foundations, site grading, drainage, roads, and utility corridors; develop and review design drawings, 3D models, and deliverables; ensure compliance with project requirements and international codes; coordinate with geotechnical, architectural, piping, and mechanical teams; provide mentorship to junior designers; interface with EPC contractors, consultants, and construction teams; participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or related engineering field
- Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering experience, with average experience of 10+ years
- Strong background in the LNG or Oil & Gas industry
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, Tekla, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of LNG facility layout, modularization, and coastal infrastructure
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight schedules
- Experience with greenfield LNG projects or large-scale industrial facilities
- Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to LNG terminals
- Exposure to digital engineering platforms and model-based design workflows
