Job Summary
Prepare civil models, drawings, and design documentation using industry-standard software to support delivery of Buildings and Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and architectural disciplines to develop design solutions through all project phases. Participate in BIM and model coordination activities while contributing to quality assurance and design review processes. Develop technical capability under the guidance of senior designers and engineers. Requires 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d, or Civil 3D, and an Australian Government Security Clearance. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D
- Experience delivering civil design documentation and models across buildings, land development and/or infrastructure projects
- Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines
- Experience working alongside BIM teams or participating in BIM coordination activities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
