Job Summary
Production-focused Civil Designer to support land development and infrastructure projects across Arizona; design production using AutoCAD Civil 3D; develop civil site plans, grading & drainage plans, and utility designs; assist in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS; use Bluebeam for markup; collaborate with engineers and project managers; gain licensure path; opportunities for hands-on training, mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field with 0–4 years of experience and EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- OR 5+ years of progressive civil design experience in land development or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, roadways, utilities, and site development
- Ability to interpret survey data and integrate it into design plans
- Experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
