Job Summary
Design and produce sets of plans for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential Land Development projects using CAD software. Implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards while making and quality checking drawings of substantial complexity. Maintain the drawing database, coordinate work activities to maintain schedules, and ensure quality control. Perform multifaceted calculations and suggest design changes based on engineering principles. May supervise and train CAD staff while developing familiarity with company practices and standards. Requires minimal supervision to perform day-to-day tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
- Detail oriented
