Job Summary
Civil Design Engineer to support Arcadis UK Water Frameworks across the UK. Role involves input into Optioneering, feasibility, outline and detailed design for wastewater and clean water infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects; preparation of high-quality designs, calculations, and construction-ready documentation; collaboration with clients, contractors and the project team; and developing skills toward chartership. Requires BIM-led design experience (Civils 3D) and knowledge of British Standards/Water Specifications. Opportunity to grow in a multidisciplinary environmental improvements program within Arcadis UK.
Required Qualifications
- Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Made positive progress toward achieving Chartered or Incorporated status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Have previous experience in the water industry
- Is highly motivated and can influence outcomes
- Is a collaborator with good people and inter-personal skills
- Has a working knowledge and/or experience of BIM led design and Civils 3D
- Has a good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications
