Job Summary
Civil Design Engineer responsible for developing site design and infrastructure plan sets using Autodesk Civil 3D, collaborating with design teams, agencies, and clients; participate in design reviews, kick-offs, and meetings; perform quantity takeoffs and bid tabulations; support plan production, quality control, and adherence to civil engineering standards and project requirements across Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Engineering Principles: Competent with engineering elements including site design, grading and drainage, utility design, constructability reviews using creative problem solving for completion of engineering plan sets.
- Prioritize and Pivot Effectively: Produce high quality results while balancing work on a variety of projects and priorities in order to support multiple project teams and deadlines.
- Communication: Remains open and willing to receive and apply feedback to continually improve.
- Active Listening: Give full attention to instructions provided, take time to understand points being made, and proactively ask questions to clarify as necessary.
- Collaboration: Successfully work within a group to complete a project collectively.
- Initiative: Self-motivated to think ahead and proactively support project teams to problem solve and meet deadlines
