Job Summary
The Civil Design Engineer will perform design and analysis for civil engineering projects using computer programs and manual computations. Responsibilities include independently designing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, preparing design calculations and quantity take-offs, working closely with other disciplines, and performing CAD work. The position requires a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 3 years of civil design experience, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of state and regional regulations and MicroStation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of civil design experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
Desired Qualifications
- PE license or on PE track preferred
- Working knowledge and experience with state and regional regulations
- Knowledge of MicroStation preferred
