Job Summary
Civil Crew Foreman provides on-site supervision of a ground crew for construction tasks including foundations, fencing, grounding, site/tower area maintenance, and related activities. Responsibilities include safety-first leadership, coaching and developing team members, maintaining project timelines, completing daily site reports and Job Safety Analyses (JSA), coordinating inspections, ensuring quality and timeliness, performing grounding, terminations, fastening, cadwelding as required, assisting with general groundwork and equipment maintenance, and supporting overall crew efforts to build/install sites per customer specs. Requires climbing, lifting up to 50lbs+, travel (80-100%), DOT/CDL considerations a plus, and willingness to pursue related training/certifications. Full-time, with long hours and variable conditions; includes extensive travel and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have excavator experience
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
- Combination of education and experience to total 5 years
- 3 to 5 years experience working on a tower construction crew
- Demonstrated ability to lead construction crew
