Job Summary
Lead crew in completing jobs safely and efficiently, including trenching, foundation excavations, roadway installs, rebar installation, pouring foundations, grounding systems, and utility conduits. Participate in daily JHA/tailgate meetings and run test equipment for close-out documentation. Shadow other Foremen and Construction Managers during the first 90 days to learn all aspects of the trade before a performance review and wage increase. Assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance, tool inventory, and staying current on assigned training and certifications. Work Monday through Friday with typical weekly hours ranging from 60 to 80, including potential continuous travel for up to four weeks. Provide cold weather gear and basic hand tools while maintaining professional communication with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Must value safety over and above all other considerations
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc
- Willing to work as part of a team and independently under limited supervision
- Provide communication and customer service that is both professional and courteous
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background, drug testing, DOT physical, and MVR
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather while performing work for long periods of time
- Typical work weeks range from 60 to 80 hours a week
- May require travel for up to (4) weeks at a time
Desired Qualifications
- Previous construction or mechanical experience
- Valid CDL
