Job Summary
Laborer responsible for assisting Laborers and Laborer Journeyman with material handling, assembling and dismantling of equipment, preparing work areas, and cleaning of machines and workspaces. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, supplying materials/tools, cleaning work areas, erecting/dismantling scaffolding, leveling ground for scaffolding, tending motor and grout, lifting/moving between wheelbarrows and buckets, debris cleanup, placing and vibrating concrete, and building relationships with diverse teams. Requires ability to use power and non-powered tools, strong teamwork, and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction preferred
- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
- Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
