Civil Construction Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise civil construction activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with QEHS standards and managing daily site operations, records, and reporting. Review project documentation, as-built drawings, and design anomalies while leading daily pre-starts, SWMS reviews, and emergency planning. Coordinate site inductions, verify worker competencies, and ensure plant and equipment are compliant and fit for purpose. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to meet project expectations, attend site meetings, and escalate issues as required. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role involves overseeing Greenfield Builds for telecommunications networks, with the ability to travel nationally and work away from home for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Sound experience in Civil Construction and/or Building, in particular Telecommunications new site delivery (Greenfield Builds) or equivalent onsite knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of construction principles as applicable to the construction industry
- Experience in leading medium to large scale / mass concrete footings
- Demonstrated understanding of general concepts of mechanical / electrical engineering
- QEHS awareness and compliance for sites in a similar environment
- Experience in providing on site company presentation in diverse and technically challenging fields and locations
- Record keeping of Quality documentation for task (i.e. Checklists, QEHS documentation, photos)
- Person In Charge of Site (PICW) knowledge and demonstrated experience
- Ability to travel nationally and work away from home for extended periods of time
- Manual Driver's Licence
