Civil Construction Senior Project Manager (Site & Utilities)

Job Summary

Manage stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and supply chain, to deliver compliant projects while tracking critical milestones and avoiding schedule slip. Verify project governance, monitor multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied, and manage supplier interfaces through monthly trackers and weekly reviews. Forecast key milestones, provide technical support to owners and contractors, and respond rapidly to RFIs from the field. Lead delivery of major civil and utility infrastructure projects, overseeing roadway, grading, and site development while coordinating with city agencies and utility providers. Ensure compliance with permitting requirements and environmental commitments, manage utility conflict resolution, and support phased infrastructure delivery across multiple concurrent projects. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required with 10+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure and utility systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure, utility, land development, or large-scale construction programs
  • Demonstrated experience delivering horizontal infrastructure projects including utility systems, roadway improvements, grading, and site development
  • Experience working with public agencies, utility providers, municipalities, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of utility coordination, permitting processes, environmental compliance, and construction sequencing
  • Proven track record managing multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications
  • PMP, CCM or OSHA 30 certifications preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large urban redevelopment or master-planned community projects strongly preferred
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills
