Job Summary
Install water mains (Ductile & PVC), gravity sewer, storm drainage, conduits and duct banks; perform demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work; read tape measure; lift up to 60 lbs; comply with safety and drug screening; overtime on Saturdays; pass background check; provide references; position on civil-site & utilities projects in Central/Southwest Virginia; valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Must have previous construction experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own transportation to job sites
- Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must work safely
- Must be able to pass a drug test / ground screening
- Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
- Must pass drug test/screening
- Must possess a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Will need to provide three-character references
- Background Check Required
- Pay: $16-23 per hour DOE
