Job Summary
Operate heavy civil construction equipment on sites in Charlottesville and the Lynchburg, VA area, including trackhoe, backhoe, dozer, end dump, skid steers, wheel and track loader, mini excavator, and roller. Perform duties such as demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, and installation/maintenance of water mains, sewer, and storm drainage. Must read tape measure, lift 60 lbs, and be willing to work occasional Saturdays. Requires 5 years of civil-field experience; Virginia resident; valid driver’s license (CDL preferred); leadership-oriented and ready to grow; drug screening required; concrete and pipe-laying experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift 60lbs
- Must pass drug test/screening
- Must be available to work occasional Saturdays
- Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred
- Concrete experience preferred
- Pipe laying experience preferred
- Must be a leader who is looking to grow
- Virginia resident
