Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment including trackhoes, backhoes, dozers, end dumps, skid steers, wheel and track loaders, mini excavators, and rollers across civil construction and site development projects in Charlottesville and Lynchburg, VA. Perform demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, and utility installation for water mains, sewer, and storm drainage. Read tape measures, lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders while maintaining a positive can-do attitude. Valid driver's license required with CDL preferred; occasional Saturdays available. Five years of civil engineering experience and concrete or pipe laying background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat and climb ladders
- Must be a Virginia resident
- Must pass drug test/screening
- Must be available to work occasional Saturdays
- Valid driver's license
- Must be a leader who is looking to grow
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of experience preferred in civil engineering field
