Job Summary
Civil Construction General Laborer position for Pipe Layer focusing on installing Water mains (Ductile & PVC), Gravity Sewer, Storm Drainage, and Conduits & Duct Banks. Must have construction experience, driver’s license, own transportation to job sites, ability to lift 60lbs, read a tape measure, work safely, pass a drug test, and be willing to overtime on Saturdays. Background check and three-character references required. Emphasis on hands-on field work, willingness to learn, and positive attitude. Location: Forest, Virginia. DOE pay range $16-$23/hour (annualized).
Required Qualifications
- Must have previous construction experience
- Valid driver's license is required
- Must have own transportation to job sites
- Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must work safely
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
- Must pass drug test/screening
- Must possess a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Will need to provide three-character references
