Job Summary
Civil Construction Estimator for remote Atlantic Canada responsible for supporting bid delivery and project planning. Prepare and support tenders for civil projects (parks, trails, bridges, municipal infrastructure); review drawings, specs, and contracts; complete quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimates and bid submissions; coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers; identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options; support pre-construction planning and project handoff; collaborate with Project Managers and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of civil construction estimating experience
- Experience with municipal or public tenders is an asset
- Background in civil infrastructure, site development, or landscape construction
- Proficiency with HeavyBid or similar, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work Eastern Time hours
- Relevant diploma or degree is an asset
