Job Summary
The Civil/Construction Engineer will manage a broad range of construction projects, coordinate project teams, and oversee client relationships. Responsibilities include reviewing budgets and schedules, performing construction observations, preparing project documentation, and reporting on work progress. Candidates must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering or related fields, a PE License is preferred, and at least 8 years of construction experience. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work flexibly are essential.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required.
- PE License or ability to obtain strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a construction role is desired.
- Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills.
- Strong organization and ability to perform services efficiently and within budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work outside on foot for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to be flexible with variable work shifts during the work week.
- Good driving record and valid driver's license.
- Collaborative approach that can mentor less experienced staff.
Desired Qualifications
- Project leadership experience is a plus.
- Prior experience working with State DOTs, cities, counties, or local municipalities preferred.
