Job Summary
Construct, erect, install, fabricate, dismantle, and repair structures, formwork, and fixtures using wood, metal forms, and associated accessories. Interpret project drawings, blueprints, and grade specifications to lay out work accurately. Study blueprints and structural plans to select materials, prepare layouts, mark cutting lines, and shape materials to prescribed measurements. Assemble cut materials, erect frameworks, install sub-flooring, and fit prefabricated windows, doors, and trim. Construct forms for concrete pouring, erect scaffolding, and place and finish concrete in formwork. This role requires five years of heavy civil or commercial construction carpentry experience and proficiency with hand tools, power saws, and measuring devices. NCCER certification may be required. Final compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Five (5) years of experience in heavy civil or commercial construction carpentry and concrete finishing
- Skilled at using hand tools, power saws, levels, and measuring devices
- NCCER certification
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen
- Physical evaluation
- Signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
