Job Summary
Lead the creation of construction drawings for utility and site infrastructure including pipelines, utility corridors, yard utilities, drainage, and site layout using Bentley OpenRoads. Perform surface modeling, utility alignments, profiles, and site grading design while managing 3D models across multiple disciplines. Conduct clash detection, self-checks, and peer reviews to ensure constructability and compliance with CAD standards. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to refine design concepts, address redlines, and support permitting processes through organized documentation. Guide junior team members and contribute to enhancing CAD workflows for efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Bentley OpenRoads Modeling/Geopak or Inroads
- Advanced proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads, including surface creation, alignments, profiles, and grading
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or extensive practical experience in lieu of formal education)
- Associate's Degree in CADD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong familiarity with civil engineering design criteria, codes, and standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Collaborative team player and self-motivated professional
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and continuously enhance technical skills

Desired Qualifications

- Experience with large-scale infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects
