Job Summary
Civil CAD Drafter/Technician to support the Civil Engineering team in designing sites for land development and infrastructure across the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities include creating and editing project drawings and deliverables, applying CAD standards, maintaining project files, preparing plans/sections/details from sketches and redlines, performing AutoTurn vehicular turning studies, ensuring presentation-quality drawing appearance, coordinating with engineers, plotting/scanning drawings, and using Civil 3D for design elements. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, strong eye for presentation and detail, and effective communication; it starts with full in-office attendance during training and transitions to a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-4 years’ experience or completion of a CAD Technical education program
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- For CAD Technician, applicable and working knowledge of Civil 3D
- The ability and desire to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, hardworking, dependable
- Be detail oriented, organized, and have good follow-through skills
- Clear and collaborative communication skills
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships with team members
- This position will require full in-office attendance during a training period; upon successful completion, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.
