Job Summary
Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways for land development projects in the Central Florida area. Coordinate with engineering teams to meet project objectives, review plans for completeness and quality control, and troubleshoot design problems. Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initial stages through final construction documents, including site grading, plan-profile drawings, cross sections, and stormwater management. Requires minimum five years of civil engineering experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Join a fast-paced site/civil engineering team at Absolute Engineering, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years professional work experience in the Civil Engineering field
- Must be a self-starter
- detail-oriented
- technically sound in engineering principles and practices
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of WaterCAD
- Ability to design Land Development projects from initial stages through final construction documents
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with site grading
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with plan-profile drawings
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with cross sections
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with pressurized pipe
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with gravity pipe systems
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with roadway and subdivision layout
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with stormwater management
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with erosion and sediment control
- Must have extensive civil engineering experience with construction drawing preparation
- Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
