Civil and Structural Engineer (Power Generation)

Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise civil and structural engineering design activities for power generation projects, including site layout, grading, foundations, and plant structures. Review design deliverables for technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability while managing risks that impact project cost, schedule, or execution. Serve as the technical representative overseeing EPC contractors and engineering consultants, defining scopes of work and supporting regulatory approvals and stakeholder communications. Maintain organized technical records and provide regular reporting on design progress and risks. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, 7–10 years of experience, and familiarity with tools such as STAAD.Pro and SAP2000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 7–10 years of experience supporting civil and structural engineering for power generation or large industrial infrastructure projects
- Experience supervising EPC contractors and engineering consultants
- Working knowledge of civil site design, foundation and structural steel design for gas turbine facilities
- Strong technical review, coordination, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with gas turbine simple or combined cycle power generation projects
- Experience reviewing civil and structural design packages during EPC execution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Familiarity with structural analysis and civil design tools (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
