Job Summary
Conduct field studies and surveys to collect technical data, then analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects. Plan, assign, and supervise work assignments while coordinating with local and nationwide teams for project delivery. Liaise with clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams to define and achieve successful outcomes. Review reports, plans, and specifications, and write or approve deliverables using local and state standards. Evaluate engineering solutions and apply advanced techniques to complex problems within budget and schedule restraints. Travel to site locations as expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in civil engineering
- Passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or ability to obtain within a year
- Experience with OpenRoads (ORD), MicroStation and/or AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Adobe, Microsoft, and other Civil design software
- A leader and problem solver with a demonstrated collaborative work ethic
- Experience with advanced math
- Demonstrated skill in project design
- Strict attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to site locations
