Job Summary
Oversee the Distribution Manager branch by managing a team of Customer Service Representatives, coordinating new accounts, and auditing account assignments to ensure customer needs are met. Direct daily operations by monitoring departmental P&L, controlling expenses, and reviewing accounts receivable to maintain cash flow. Ensure full compliance with local regulations and company operational process standards while supervising the EDMS system and recommending system enhancements. Act as a subject matter expert for the product and industry, responding to complex customer requests and supporting the pursuit of new business. Conduct regular one-on-ones, annual reviews, and training sessions to foster employee development and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of customer relationship management software programs
- Inventory management, budgeting, and accounting knowledge
- Expeditors company policies and procedures knowledge
- A good understanding of Expeditors' products, services and systems
- Strong market and competition knowledge
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word etc.)
- Direct warehouse-related experience in customer service
- Management skills such as planning, supervising, controlling, organizing and staffing
- Communication skills
- Emotional resilience
- Self-reflecting and open to feedback
- Initiative and ability to work in autonomy
- Proven leadership attitude and background
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
