Job Summary
Direct meat and seafood associates, manage daily operations, and provide expert product knowledge to clientele. Maintain department cleanliness, rotate cases, and ensure pricing integrity with the Pricing Coordinator. Complete perishable inventories, maintain paperwork and grind logs, and efficiently schedule team members while monitoring sales and labor. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and training requirements, including proper use of knives and equipment. Lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently in a medium work environment requiring good vision and hearing. Support Pyramid Foods' commitment to local communities by delivering quality food and service in a clean, friendly atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
