City-Wide Special Education Teacher responsible for planning and implementing academic and clinical IEP goals through ongoing assessment; developing and applying a developmentally focused classroom structure; creating an integrated curriculum; applying subject-matter knowledge across disciplines; planning daily lessons with varied modalities; establishing an effective behavior management program; maintaining student records and reporting; collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff; conducting educational testing and evaluations to assess student needs; participating in a transdisciplinary model and integrating clinical group goals into curricula; engaging in staff development and professional growth activities; fostering student awareness, self-respect, and goal attainment; supervising aides and volunteers as assigned; aligning with district policies and contract requirements.
