Job Summary
Municipal Services Truck Driver responsible for safe operation of municipal vehicles to ensure timely delivery of municipal services; requires reliable/punctual performance, ability to work weekends/extra hours, and follow instructions; duties include operating heavy equipment when required and working in areas with sewage/waste odors; must be able to work in a team and meet delivery schedules; prior municipal experience and Class 3 license with Air Brake Endorsement preferred; includes background checks and eligibility under Inuit agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement
- Equivalent to Grade 10 education
- Previous heavy equipment experience (preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely and quickly
- Ability to work under time constraints and in a team
- Experience in a municipality (preferred)
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required
