Job Summary
City Manager responsible for managing the city-wide operations of Gozem in Cotonou, leading local teams, and driving growth. You will define and monitor local strategies in collaboration with the Country Manager for Benin, supervise budgets, and ensure service quality for transport, delivery, and fintech components. Responsibilities include coordinating an engaged local team, communicating vision and goals, tracking daily KPIs (e.g., number of rides, transport GMV, commissions, NPS), identifying and solving city-level issues, maintaining the local budget, promoting the Gozem brand with local authorities and partners, forming strategic partnerships with merchants, proposing city-specific services, and proposing quarterly marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team. Requirements include entrepreneurial mindset, startup experience, analytical skills, budget management proficiency, and fluency in French and English. The recruitment process includes an RH interview, a business case, and an in-depth discussion with Country Manager and Operations Director.
Required Qualifications
- BAC + III Management, Business, ou Gestion des projet
- 1-2 ans d’expérience (si secteur mobilité / micro mobilité / opérationnel) ou + de 2 ans si autres secteurs
- Bonne connaissance en gestion budgétaire
- Maîtrise des outils : Gsheet, Query, Gslide/Powerpoint presentation
- Vous parlez couramment français, anglais et fon
