Job Summary

Monitor the fleet, distribute and update driver information, and manage satellite and telephone messages within assigned queues. Identify and resolve day-to-day issues relating to driver activities, ensuring timely communication and documentation for record-keeping. Handle special projects, training seminars, and weekend planning as assigned. This 12-month contract requires a 2x2x3 Continental shift from 05:00 to 17:00 PT and reliable transportation. Candidates with dispatch experience and knowledge of the Vancouver Area geography are preferred.

Educational background in Supply Chain Management (or other relevant area such as Business)
Ability to identify and participate in the resolution of issues relating to day to day driver activities
Ability to transmit and receive all information relevant to the driver/cartage company performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirements
Ability to handle all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues
Ability to recognize, communicate and document situations that should be reviewed by other parties, for information, action and record keeping purposes
Ability to work on behalf of both the Driver and the Company to resolve any day to day issues that may arise
Ability to be available for a 2x2x3 Continental shift
Hours of work from 05:00 - 17:00 PT
