Job Summary
Assist customers in identifying and obtaining required parts while establishing professional in-person relationships and providing accurate parts-related information. Ensure customer orders are entered and processed in a timely manner and maintain the City Desk area in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. This role supports the City Desk/Counter Sales Specialist function within Goodin Company's warehouse atmosphere, requiring comfort with computer use and physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Plumbing or heating knowledge is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
- Great customer service
- Problem solving
- Communication skills
- Comfortable with computer use
- May occasionally lift up to 100 lbs
- Regular use of arms, hands, and fingers to feel, grasp, type, and reach
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear
Desired Qualifications
- Plumbing and/or heating knowledge a plus
