Job Summary
Deploy, configure, and test Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops within an Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Set up and manage Citrix Cloud connectors while integrating with Azure resources. Configure networking components, including firewall rules, subnets, and VPNs, to support secure connectivity. Work with Windows Server administration for Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Troubleshoot user access, session performance, and connectivity issues. Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth implementation and handoff. This 12-18 month role requires 4-5 days onsite in Austin, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years overall IT experience
- at least 2+ years hands-on with Citrix or Azure Virtual Desktop
- Proven experience setting up or managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-prem or cloud)
- Experience deploying or managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals — routing, firewall rules, VPNs, DNS, etc.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within project timelines
- 4-5 days onsite required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Citrix Cloud
- Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA–V) or higher
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
