Job Summary
Administer, maintain, and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/Call Manager) environments while designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco IP Telephony, voice, video, and collaboration solutions. Analyze and resolve call routing issues, call flow failures, and quality concerns by creating and analyzing Call Detail Records (CDRs). Perform software upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management for Cisco UC environments, including support for Unity Connection voicemail and multi-site collaboration solutions. Provide Tier III technical support as an escalation point for complex voice and network issues, collaborating with network engineers, security teams, and vendors to ensure system availability. Document configurations and procedures per customer requirements while monitoring infrastructure performance. Requires active TS/SCI clearance, onsite SCIF work, and 5+ years of hands-on Cisco UC experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/Call Manager) environments
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco VoIP and IP Telephony solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of SIP, SCCP, call routing, dial plans, gateways, trunking, and voice troubleshooting
- Experience creating, analyzing, and troubleshooting call flows and Call Detail Records (CDRs)
- Experience designing and supporting multi-site Cisco voice solutions
- Working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time in a secure SCIF environment
Desired Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration
- CCNP Enterprise or equivalent routing and switching experience
- Experience with Cisco Unity Connection
- Experience supporting secure government, defense, or classified environments
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Collaboration or equivalent advanced Cisco expertise
- Experience with remote monitoring and management of enterprise Cisco UC environments
