Job Summary

Circulation Manager responsible for leading print and digital circulation strategy for LabX Media Group's large publication portfolio. Own print circulation operations, subscriber retention, revenue optimization, and churn reduction while driving data-informed audience growth across multiple channels. Plan and execute campaigns to acquire and retain subscribers, manage vendor relationships and distribution logistics, monitor email deliverability and lifecycle campaigns, analyze audience data to inform growth, and optimize campaigns for measurable ROI across multiple channels.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in circulation management, audience development, or digital/print marketing, ideally within a media, publishing, B2B or B2C environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret audience data and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Experience in/knowledge of the scientific industry is an asset.
  • Experience & Skills: Expert working knowledge of subscription fulfillment software (Omeda, CDS).
  • Experience with e-mail marketing platforms and list segmentation best practices.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools to monitor audience KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management; familiarity with emerging platforms and growth tactics.
  • Direct experience both executing and managing paid advertising efforts.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization; a disciplined, test-and-learn approach to campaign development capable of demonstrating clear ROI
  • Advanced knowledge of print fulfillment workflows, subscriber database management, subscription billing cycles, and postal regulations.
