Circuit Design Engineer - New College Grad 2026
$116,000–$218,500 year
Remote · United States or Santa Clara, California, United States
Job Summary
Senior circuit design engineer role focused on cutting-edge processor design in deep submicron technologies. You will develop digital, semi-custom and mixed-signal analog circuits for silicon correlation and hardware security, perform transistor-level analyses, drive digital/mixed-signal IP design and physical implementation, create prototypes on test chips, and mentor junior engineers. Collaboration across cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and security of next-generation NVIDIA products is expected. The role emphasizes hands-on SPICE/EM/IR simulations, static timing analysis, RTL and verification, DFT, place-and-route, scripting for automation, and exposure to current/voltage sensing and security-attacks detection methods. The position includes hybrid and remote work options in the US and requires advanced degrees and relevant experience; multiple ranges for base salary are provided depending on level.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Good understanding of deep submicron process issues and digital circuit design techniques
- Familiarity/experience with analog and mixed-signal block design such as op-amp, comparator, ADC
- Hands on experience running Spice simulations, EM/IR analysis, and static timing analysis/closure
- Experience with spice simulation for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, ac/dc/transient analysis, monte-carlo, etc
- Ways to stand out: Hands-on experience in design and analysis of digital and mixed-signal analog current and voltage sensors is a plus
- Exposure to security attacks and common detection circuits
- Experience with RTL, logic synthesis and verification, knowledge of Place and Route, and understanding of Design-for-test (DFT)
- Strong experience in scripting language, such as, Perl, Tcl, Make and automation methods/algorithms
- Prior leadership experience
