Circuit and Mask Design Engineer

Job Summary
The Circuit and Mask Design Engineer will be responsible for layout/design and procurement of photolithography masks to support post-CMOS wafer processing technologies. Key duties include generating die and wafer layouts, ordering lithography masks, and reviewing vendor data. A strong understanding of integrated circuit design and hands-on lab skills are essential, along with experience in semiconductor processing and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or BS in electrical engineering
- 3+ years of mask layout and design experience
- Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding of integrated circuit design and related device performance (electrical)
- Semiconductor wafer processing experience in a cleanroom environment
- Understanding of designing for engineered products and packaging
- Good hands-on lab skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- PC proficiency and familiarity with mask layout software
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proactive self-starter capable of working independently
- Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
