Job Summary
Deal cards, check bets, and determine winners during games of chance including dice, roulette, cards, or keno. Sell chips to players upon request, pay winning bets, and collect losing bets while observing player and house protection. Advise guests on playing procedures and exchange money for chips. Practice and promote company service standards while understanding minimum and maximum bets, payouts, and side bet rules. Work any shift or hours with good math skills and valid Nevada Gaming license. Requires normal vision, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a noisy environment that may contain secondhand smoke.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form
- Ability to work any shift or hours
- Must have good math skills
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Normal, corrective vision range
- Ability to see color
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
