Job Summary
Provide outstanding, friendly, and informative guest service while maintaining safety throughout the property by periodically patrolling assigned areas. Answer guest questions reflecting an understanding of the department and property, and protect company assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior, escalating emergency situations to supervisors and directors as needed. Adhere to all company service and operating standards, Gaming Control Board rules, and policies while supporting team efforts. Complete assigned training academy and obtain required work cards. Work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, in an environment that may be hot, cold, noisy, or contain second-hand smoke.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidays
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with Team Members and Guests
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain required work cards
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
