Job Summary
Perform general and preventive electrical maintenance property wide. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. Work daily with personal hand tools and company owned power tools. Complete work orders as assigned through computer-based program in a timely manner. Communicate details of work orders and follow up through to completion. Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs. Ensure customer satisfaction. Follow lawful direction from Upper Management. Understand and follow work and safety rules and procedures. Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- One year experience
- Must be 21+ years old
- Basic working knowledge of building maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical repairs
- Working knowledge of low voltage
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read wiring schematics
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
- Must uphold appearance standards
- Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
