Job Summary
Main Bank Cashier handles the main bank drawer and bankroll, processes fills and credits between cage and gaming departments, and manages all employee transactions (revenue banks, cash turn-in). Signs sensitive keys in and out of cage using key control logs. Requires strong money handling and cash handling skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to read/write/speak English. Must be able to obtain Nevada Gaming license and be at least 21 years old. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Excellent teamwork and communication with guests, team members, and management, with attention to accuracy and adherence to Title 31 and Gaming Control Board regulations. Work environment includes typical casino conditions with potential for noise and secondhand smoke.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong money handling and cash handling skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
