Job Summary
CIPP Operator responsible for installing and operating cured-in-place pipe systems for sewer and stormwater rehabilitation projects in the Louisville, KY area. Operates CCTV inspection trucks, jet-vacuum trucks, and boiler trucks; performs resin mixing, inversion setup, bypass pumping, and monitors curing with steam or UV systems. Conducts pre-installation pipeline cleaning with high-pressure jetting up to 4,000 PSI and maintains equipment through daily inspections. Documents installation progress and adheres to OSHA safety protocols; contributes to project records. Travel 25-40% to support regional sites; requires CDL Class B and experience in heavy construction/underground utilities; works in a multi-person crew and may involve equipment preparation and maintenance across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy construction or underground utility work with hands-on cured-in-place pipe installation required
- CDL Class B license strongly preferred; must be willing to obtain within 6 months if not currently held
- Demonstrated ability to operate jet-vacuum trucks, CCTV inspection systems, and bypass pumping equipment
- Ability to pass drug screening, fitness-for-duty physical, and safety training exams
- Strong understanding of temporary flow management and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-person crew
