Job Summary
Operate and install CIPP systems for sewer and stormwater rehabilitation projects; use CCTV inspection trucks, jet-vacuum trucks, and boiler trucks; assemble bypass pumping systems; prepare equipment and resin mixing for CIPP installation; perform pre-installation cleaning with high-pressure jetting up to 4000 PSI; monitor curing of CIPP liners with steam/UV; conduct quality control inspections using CCTV; maintain equipment and follow OSHA safety protocols; document installation progress and travel 80-90% of the time; located in Charlotte, NC with on-site, non-remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy construction or underground utility work
- Previous hands-on experience with Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation required
- CDL Class B license strongly preferred; must be willing to obtain within 6 months if not currently held
- Demonstrated ability to operate specialized equipment including jet-vacuum trucks and CCTV systems
- Willingness to travel out of town 80-90% of the time, including weekends
- Ability to pass drug screening and fitness-for-duty physical examination
- Must pass safety training exams and follow detailed work instructions
- Strong understanding of bypass pumping systems and temporary flow management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-person crew
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Extended travel away from home 80-90% of the time, including overnight stays and weekends
- On-site work environment; no remote work available
