Job Summary
Sanitation associate responsible for sanitizing production equipment, setting up utensils for shifts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in GMP-compliant conditions. Follow FDA guidelines and PPE use; read safety rules and instructions; communicate effectively in English; train other associates and provide coverage in other departments as needed. Must lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hot, humid production environment with PPE and GMP requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate about work instructions and safety information written in English
- Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, other employees in the organization and vendors.
- Ability and desire to train other associates
- Provide coverage in other departments when needed
- Previous sanitation experience preferred
