Job Summary
Write and publish showtime schedules to optimize theater space and programming alignment. Manage ushers and turn teams, directing staff to maintain high standards of customer service and cleanliness. Oversee film setup and presentation, ensuring content and playlists upload correctly per technical specifications. Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to promptly address maintenance issues. Collaborate with the programming team to coordinate screenings and special events for seamless execution. Monitor box office sales and attendance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Implement company policies, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a secure guest environment. Maintain relationships with film distributors to track upcoming releases and promotional opportunities. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed while holding Manager ServSafe certification.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests, staff, and industry partners.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification required.
- Proven experience in cinema management or related role, with a strong understanding of theater operations and technical requirements.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Comfortable with flashing lights & loud noises.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
