Cincinnati Area Director - Fundraising Leader

Job Summary
Lead fundraising operations in the Cincinnati market, owning fund development across individual, corporate, and foundation giving; drive program growth and serve as the visible face of the organization in southern Ohio. Oversee signature events (including the Friendship Walk and Champion of the Year), cultivate sponsors, build and steward a local advisory board, and supervise a Program Manager while partnering with the State Director to expand chapters and programming for individuals with IDD. This hands-on leadership role requires strong donor development, event execution, strategy, and stakeholder engagement to broaden the donor base, grow advisory capacity, and extend the organization’s impact in Cincinnati and southern Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of relevant experience
- 4+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including events, donor cultivation, and corporate or foundation giving
- Experience leading signature fundraising events with $50K+ revenue targets
- Demonstrated success expanding a donor base through cultivation and stewardship
- Direct people management experience or clear readiness to manage a direct report
- Strong project management, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable engaging with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for events
- Access to reliable transportation
