Job Summary
Partner with plant CIMS network in quality, efficiency, and RTY improvement projects by identifying performance gaps in yield, uptime, speed, and quality. Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S implementation while mentoring staff to foster sustainable change. Manage small and medium scale Capital projects, performing financial analysis and delivering technical tasks that comply with quality, safety, and project management best practices. Support plants in improvement projects identified through audit processes and assist in process commissioning. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement environments. Salary ranges from $65k to $80k with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match and day-one health coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechatronics, or Mechanical preferred)
- 3+ years of experience Continuous Improvement Engineer, Process Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer
- Experience working in a continuous manufacturing environment
- thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Experience in raw materials and raw material processing
- Experience in 6 Sigma/Lean continuous improvement environment using key tools and frameworks and successfully rolling them out across manufacturing environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in design or deployment of process automation to support improvements in efficiency and effectiveness is desirable
