Job Summary
CII Processor on 1st shift handling controlled substances: count and enter products into the database, perform inventory reconciliation, verify counts and product information, generate internal and customer paperwork, prepare DEA Form 222, pick/pull and package products for shipment, perform quality checks, follow SOPs, maintain a clean, safe warehouse, and assist in production-related duties. Requires ability to work weekends/overtime with notice, background check, and drug screen; HS diploma or Associate’s degree preferred; Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not required; 2-5 years pharmacy experience preferred; must be able to read NDC/UPC numbers and dates, and be proficient with MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred, not required)
- 2-5 years of experience in a pharmacy (preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of Brand/Generic Drugs, including controlled substances
- Ability to scan and read NDC/UPC numbers, Lot #, and Exp. Dates
- Ability to determine master cases and Inner packs
- Must be able to perform cycle counts and understand the processes of inventory reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Must be computer literate in MS Office
- Must be dependable, reliable, and able to follow directions
- Good oral with excellent written communication skills
- Ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance team environment
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime with advance notice
- Must have clean background and pass drug screen
- HS diploma, Associate’s Degree is preferred
- Must be adaptable and flexible in dealing with a diverse work force
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for up to 10 hours a day if needed, with breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
