Job Summary
CIB Markets FinOps Analyst at Vice President level to translate cloud consumption data into actionable recommendations across cloud platforms. Responsibilities include analyzing cloud spend, usage, and budget data to identify trends and optimisation opportunities; forecasting, efficiency analysis, and financial planning; building analytical models and metrics for visibility into cloud financial performance; partnering with engineering and application teams to assess consumption patterns and drive cost-efficient approaches; tracking and reporting the financial impact of optimisation initiatives; producing clear, insight-driven reporting and presentations for technical and business stakeholders; and contributing to FinOps analytics, dashboards, and governance enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical mindset with experience handling complex financial or operational datasets
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights within large datasets
- Experience building models to support forecasting, optimisation, or scenario analysis
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, pricing models, and consumption-based costs
- Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud financial management practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights clearly
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and focused on measurable outcomes
