Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end Ops & Tech expense allocation cycle for front-office businesses, driving accurate and timely cost assignment, strengthening financial controls across allocation rules and billing keys, documenting intercompany/intracompany drivers, standardizing governance across allocation modules, and producing executive-ready analyses and recommendations. Collaborate with global Finance and business management on cost center setup, forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year plans; leverage SAP/SAPCO, Cognos, Apptio, and Allocation Cube to reconcile scenarios, explain variances, and translate findings into actionable guidance for senior leadership. Mentors peers, drives automation and consistency, and supports monthly forecasts and annual budgets with thoughtful variance narratives and cross-functional improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in complex expense allocation or cost accounting in a large enterprise
- Strong control mindset and familiarity with allocation rules/keys, cost center structures, and margin drivers
- Proficiency with enterprise finance/ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP/SAPCO or equivalents, Cognos, Apptio, Allocation Cube); Advanced Excel
- Analytical storytelling skills to translate complex allocation drivers into clear insights for senior stakeholders
- Effective stakeholder management and ability to partner with Finance, BMs, and Technology leadership
